After a whole month in bootcamp, vying with 19 other beauty queens, the one and only Nshuti Muheto Divine won the race of Miss Rwanda 2022.
The new Crowned Miss Rwanda 2022 is a 19 years old, a high-school graduate and representative of the western Province of Rwanda during the auditions. She replaced Grace Ingabire to the crown and her project was: Promoting a savings culture among the youth.
Her hobbies are swimming and watching movies, and when she was asked what is the thing that she hates the most in life, she replied: « When a person loses my trust! »
Meanwhile, her people are loyal and the Rwandan beauty also won the title of Miss Popularity, giving her much pride in herself and her community. « I feel happy, blessed and grateful. And credit goes to everyone who supported me throughout my journey.« , she said after winning her crown.
And went on posted on her Instagram : « I’d like to take this time to thank God, my Family and friends .Thank you Guys for your support and for believing in me. It’s such a great honor to be trusted with the responsibility that comes with the crown. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.«
On top of the crown, all in her glitz and bling bling dress, Miss Rwanda 2022 walked away with a brand new Hyundai Venue offered by Hyundai Rwanda. She also will be receiving a monthly facilitation of Rwf 800,000 during her reign from the Miss Rwanda organisation.
Among her long list of prizes, she will also acquire for her « Beauty with a purpose » project, a financial support from Africa Improved Foods (AIF).
The glamorous ceremony of the Miss Rwanda beauty pageant was held at the Intare Conference Arena in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. We found Miss Rwanda 2016 , Mutesi Jolly among the members of the jury panel, who highly congratulated the new crowned : « Congratulations to our Beautiful Muheto, all your diligent work and commitment were paid off with your win yesterday. It was most likely difficult to win the competition alongside other incredible queens, but your stunning ability set you apart. Congrats and make your accomplishment with joy.[…]« , she posted on her Instagram.
As for the first and second runners-up, Maolithia Keza and Darina Kayumba were crowned first and second runners-up respectively.
And they all got impressive prizes for their winning titles. Other winners prizes were: Miss Photogenic, Talent winner, Sports winner, Miss Heritage,Most innovative project,…
All the Miss Rwanda finalists will be given scholarships of their choice by the University of Kigali based on their level of education and progress. Each contestant will get 20% of the money obtained from each contestant’s votes. And the money will assist in their project implementation.
